Stroblhof in Eppan – what we stand for, where we come from, who we are

What we stand for – slow holidays in harmony with nature

A historic winery, open and uncomplicated today.

With us, it’s not about show, but about what truly matters: hospitality, tranquillity, and a house that blends naturally into the landscape. Winemaking and hospitality belong together – you can feel it in the rhythm and in the atmosphere. That’s what we stand for.

Sustainability should not need explaining.

We focus on solutions that work in everyday life: solar energy, drinking water from our own spring, a natural swimming pond without chlorine, and a thoughtful approach to resources throughout the house – from lighting to care products.

Enjoyment and origin.

For us, regionality is not an idea, but a practice. Breakfast and cuisine follow the seasons and the surroundings, herbs and salads grow in the garden, and in your glass you’ll find South Tyrol – with a strong regional wine selection.

History – from a residential tower to the Stroblhof

1325 as the beginning.

This place has been rooted here for centuries: the residential tower “Alt-Firmian” was first documented in 1325. Over time, the estate bore different names before becoming what is now known as the Stroblhof.

Spa town, new beginnings, hotel.

With Eppan’s rise as a spa destination from 1872 onwards, guests began to arrive, and the Stroblhof continued to evolve – from a country inn to a hotel. In the 1960s, the first hotel with an outdoor pool in the Überetsch area was built here; in 1972, an indoor pool followed, along with the next step in winemaking.

Today: quality, Burgundy varieties, sustainability.

The current generation has shaped both the winery and the house with a modern vision – focusing on Burgundy varieties, a contemporary cellar, and a clear commitment to sustainable tourism.

Host family – the people who shape the Stroblhof

Women hosts with a fine sense.

That’s us: Rosi and Christine Hanni together with Anna Nicolussi-Leck stand for a kind of hospitality that works quietly – attentive, warm, and reliable. Christine is always happy to share tour tips, Rosi brings atmosphere into the house with natural materials and flowers, and Anna accompanies guests with calmness and charm.

Wine people behind the scenes.

Andreas and Thomas Nicolussi-Leck mainly work in the vineyard and cellar. When the moment is right, they enjoy talking about wine – also during the weekly tasting – while keeping the organisation of the family estate running smoothly.
