Wine Experiences & Terroir at Stroblhof

Taste the estate — weekly tour, guided tasting & vineyard walk

Discover Stroblhof from the inside: join our weekly estate tour, walk through the vineyards, and step into production before you taste. It’s a relaxed, personal experience that connects the story, the craft, and the wines—so every sip comes with real context.

Small estate, mountain terroir — why our wines stay fresh

Our vineyards cover 6 hectares on mostly hillside sites at the foothills of the Mendel Mountains. Limestone with porphyry influence, cooled by downslope winds, creates the crisp, energetic style that suits Burgundy varieties so well. With elevations from about 380 to 520 meters, the wines gain natural lift and freshness—rooted in Eppan, with Kaltern adding another layer.

The Cellar — Precision, Calm, and Time

Careful winemaking, vintage after vintage

Style is made in the vineyard; in the cellar, it’s guided with precision—year after year, always tuned to the vintage.

Clay, terracotta, open floors, and lime-clay surfaces help create a steady, calm environment for élevage.

Oak aging that supports the wine

Oak is a tool, not a headline. It carries the wine without overpowering it.

If you love Pinot Noir, you’re in the right place. Stroblhof focuses on three Pinot lines—each shaped by site, vine age, and selection:

  • P!geno Pinot Noir — fruit from multiple sites in Eppan and Kaltern; first vintage produced 1892.
  • Pinot Noir Riserva — from the estate vineyards in Eppan (~500 m), southeast exposure; first vintage produced 1970.
  • “Sepp Hanni” Pinot Noir Selection — from vineyards directly above Stroblhof (~500 m), southeast exposure; bottled only in top years; first vintage produced 2019.
