Leisure opportunities in and around hotel Stroblhof

Stroblhof enjoys an enviable location, nestled between hills swathed in woodland and vineyards around the village of Eppan, along the South Tyrolean wine road. This makes it an ideal starting point for hikes, tours and excursions. With us, you are free to tailor your holiday experience to taste: you can enjoy the peace and seclusion of our winery, play on our tennis court, explore the walking and cycling paths in the area and visit a variety of natural and cultural sights, as well as indulge in more urban pleasures in the nearby towns.

Stepping into joy: walking and hiking

If you like walking, you can set off directly from our hotel: there is a route that will take you past the historic residences in the area, including Englar Castle and Moos Castle – our direct neighbours. If you are looking for a refreshing option in summer, take the path that leads to the famous ice holes. If you go a little further, you can also take the three-castle itinerary. If you are longing for dizzy heights, the Eppan high-altitude trail is a good option, and it will reward you with spectacular views of the valley and the Dolomites. Speaking of the Dolomites, they’re perfect if you are looking for more challenging mountain tours, and you can get there easily. The choice is wide, and it’s all yours.

Pedalling up hill and down dale: cycling

If you can’t wait to saddle up and explore the area, we recommend a tour to the Montiggler lakes: the path goes through the woods, and you can take a refreshing dip when you arrive. Or would you rather pedal through the vineyards all the way to lake Kalterersee? Whether you’re using a mountain bike, road bike or electric bike, there are plenty of itineraries to choose from, with something for every taste and level.
